MEET OUR FAMILY
All our professionals at Bolton Family Dental Centre maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay up to date of the latest trends in dentistry.
Rosanna Porretta, DMD - Dentist
Dr. Porretta was born in Toronto and raised in Woodbridge, Ontario. She has long history in the dental field. She has worked as an Office Manager, and as a clinical Dental Assistant. In 1993 she became a Dental Hygienist through Erie College in Buffalo, NY. She began Dental School in 1995 and graduated with Honours from Boston University in 1999.
In 2000 Dr. Porretta established Bolton Family Dental Centre. Her straightforward approach and friendly, caring personality has served to grow the practice ever since.
Dr. Porretta is very active in the pursuit of continuing education. She travels throughout North America improving her knowledge and expanding her skills. In addition to General Family Dentistry, Dr Porretta has incorporated Cosmetic Dentistry, General Practice Orthodontics, Implantology and Laser Assisted Dentistry into her high technology practice.
Dr. Porretta remians committed to providing modern dental care in a relaxing, warm setting.
Dr. Phuong Vu- Associate Dentist
Dr. Vu has lived in Canada since age 9. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Studies at the University of Windsor and attained his Dentistry Degree the University of Western Ontario in 2001. In 2002 he pursued a residency program in Hospital Dentistry at the University of Rochester, NY. Dr. Vu has experienced small-town and city practices and hospital settings. He has a warm, caring manner and it committed to quality dental care in a relaxed environment. Dr. Vu looks

Dr. David Leung - Periodontist
Dr. Leung was raised in Toronto where he attended Upper Canada College for
11 years. Afterwards, he attended New York University, where he received a degree in Biochemistry. He next moved to Philadelphia where he attended the University of Philadelphia School of Dental Medicine receiving his Doctorate in Periodontic training.
Dr. Leung is a tremendous asset to our team, helping patients with complex gum and jawbone issues right here in our office. A great communicator, Dr. Leung makes complicated dental issues easy to understand.
Dr. Leung enjoys cooking, art galleries and museums, and playing baseball in his spare time.
Jason - Registered Dental Hygienist
Jason is one of our two full-time Registered Dental Hygienists. He graduated from Fanshawe College in 1996. His extensive work experience has taken him as far as Vancouver, B. C. where he worked as a Hygienist for six years. Jason is committed to providing quality, up-to-date care with a caring, light-hearted attitude. Jason is also a part-time Clinical and Community Oral Health instructor at a Dental Hygiene College. Prior to his Dental Hygiene training, Jason also completed a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Western Ontario.
In addition to taking regular continuing dental education courses, Jason takes an active interest in overall health and nutrition. He relaxes by going for a run or spending time with his wife and beautiful young daughters at home in Orangeville.
Colleen - Registered Dental Hygienist
Colleen is the mother of two beautiful girls Megan and Sydney, who keep her and her husband very busy. Having a Dental Assisting background inspired her to continue with her education. She graduated from Niagara College as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1998. She enjoys the family feel of our unique team that she joined in 2002.
Pursuing continuing education is a passion for Colleen. Research and technology are constantly revealing new concepts and techniques that she can incorporate into her work. She also enjoys learning from the ongoing courses and programs taken by Dr. Porretta.
Sara- Registered Dental Hygienist
Sara is not new to our office. She worked with us for years as a Certified Dental Assistant before returning to school to become a Hygienist. Sara is great with people and, knowing us as well as she does, is a terrific fit in her new role.
Domenic- Registered Dental Hygienist
Domenic is the newest member of our hygiene team. He graduated in 1994 from Fanshawe College as the first male to complete their Dental Hygiene program!! His skill and wealth of experience with varied populations blends perfectly with our team.
Daiana - Reception
Daiana graduated with honours from the Seneca College Dental Assisting Program. She has eighteen years of experience in the dental field.
Her broad and varied dental background makes her a unique and tremendous asset to our office. Bring her your questions. She will find you the answers.
Daiana has been a Bolton resident since 2003. Her husband and two daughters keep her very busy when she is not working here at Bolton Family Dental Centre.
Lydia- Reception
Lydia has been with our office since 2004. She is a graduate of Ontario Business College (Windsor Campus) in the Chairside Dental Assisting program, 1998. She, her husband, and three children have lived in Bolton since 2000. Lydia has a gentle way with people and is ready to help you with your questions.
Lydia is a member of Holy Family Community Parish; and enjoys knitting and music; most recently, Michael Buble.
Victoria- Reception
Victoria is our newest face at the front desk. She is our "pinch-hitter". Quick on her feet, and a hero with our digital imaging, she is ready to help you with all your questions. Victoria is a great addition to our smile team.
Jen- Preventive Dental Assistant
Jen works primarily with Melissa caring for our orthodontic patients. Together they make a great combination. Jen has a natural talent for working closely with people, and helps make appointments fun. She is always at the ready to help out in any way. Jen enjoys time with family and friends on her weekends off.
Franca - Accounting
Franca brings to our office her experience in the banking business. Her easy manner with people makes her a great part of our team.
In winter, Franca plays women's hockey, a sport she shares with both her daughters. When not traveling with her daughter's team, she enjoys weekend time at home with her husband and the girls.
Jennifer- Preventive Dental Assistant
Jennifer worked as a dental receptionist for 3 years, then graduated from George Brown College in 2001 from the Dental Assisting Program, Level 2. She works chairside with Dr. Porretta, and with a long history of dental experience, brings an enthusiastic attitude and warm interpersonal skills. She is always eager to explain the "whys" and "hows" of any procedure to help give the patient full understanding.
Luisa- Administrator
Luisa Lombardo attended Ryerson where she majored in Business Management and minored in Human Resources and Sociology. At the age of 22 she opened her own children's wear and leather shoe company, and managed it for 14 years. After the birth of her son Michael she decided to sell the business and stay home with him and his sister Siera. Now, with both kids in school, she has trained extensively in the management of dental offices, and loves it! She has been a great addition to our team
Melissa- Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist
In 1997, Melissa graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario. After two years of working in private practice, Melissa completed the Restorative Dental Hygiene program at George Brown College. Melissa has six years of extensive knowledge in restorative and orthodontic procedures. Her skill and knowledge is complemented by her excellent interpersonal skills and sincere concern for the well-being of patients.
She is continuously taking continuing education courses and self-study to learn the most recent techniques. In her spare time she enjoys going for long walks and spending time with her husband and two dogs Milo and Amy.
